HIRING : Patient Transfer Attendant

Position : Full-time, Permanent.

Hours : 20 - 40 per week.

Pay : $23.00 per hour.

Languages : Must be fluent in English (Oral and written) . Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.

As a Patient Transfer Attendant you will be responsible for the transfer of patients via Stretcher and BRODA (reclining wheelchair).

Must Be:

Physically Fit
Caring and compassionate individual
Able to work under minimal supervision
Clean Driving & Vulnerable Sector Criminal record check - (Must provide)
Able to lift bariatric patient (minimum 250 LBS with Partner) - Lift test required for stretcher transportation
Legally allowed to work in Canada
Having experience within Non-Urgent Patient Transfer service (asset)

Responsibilities :

Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Assist patients with mobility and provide necessary support during transfers.
Maintain accurate records of patient transfers and communicate effectively with healthcare staff.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including CPR and First Aid procedures.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and equipped for patient transport.
Punctual and reliable.
Must wear company supplied uniform and ID badge at all times during paid shiftwork.
Always maintain the confidentiality of the business information and patients.

Experience :

License/Certification :

G driver’s license (F Class preferred)
Current Clean Driving Record / Driver's Abstract (required)
Must provide a current & clean vulnerable sector check (Criminal Background check)
Valid Standard First Aid with CPR, AED & O2 Certification

Work Location: In person - NO REMOTE WORK.
