Shift Length: Up to 12 hours (Guaranteed 5 hours per shift, even if no calls)
Wage: starting $21 / per hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Transfer Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will provide safe and efficient non-emergency transportation services for patients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that patients are transferred to and from medical facilities, appointments, and other locations, while maintaining their comfort and safety throughout the process. Or schedule is set as call come and someone with a flexible schedule would be our ideal fit. Opportunities for more hours in other areas of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.
- Assist patients in entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring their safety during transfers.
- Maintain patient comfort and dignity at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare staff to ensure proper understanding of transport schedules and requirements.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of patients' medical equipment, if necessary.
- Ensure that the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for patient transport.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of patients.

Job Requirements:
- Police record check
- Previous experience in patient transport or healthcare is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to lift, carry and assist patients (Up to 250lbs with partner).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high stress situations.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Valid first Aid & immunization records.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible availability to work shifts up to 12 hours, with guaranteed 5-hour shifts even when no calls are scheduled.
